Mendmaa began studying piano at the age of five and at the age of seven she entered the Central School of Music of Mongolia (Ulan Bator).

At the age of fifteen, Mendmaa was selected to continue her musical studies in Moscow and entered the Music Academy attached to the PI Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where she studied with the great pedagogue Galina Eguiazarova (currently a professor at the Reina Sofía School of Music), completing her studies with an Honorary Award.

In 1985, she entered the State Conservatory of Music P.I. Tchaikovsky in Moscow by competition, continuing her studies with A. Ignatieva, I. Smorodinova and E. Kuznetzova. She graduated with high marks and received the title of Master of Fine Arts in 1990.

During his stay in Moscow, he gives concerts in different halls and participates in commemorative concerts such as the “150th Anniversary of P.I. Tchaikovsky,” “Mozartian Week,” etc. He records for Mongolian RTV, together with the state orchestra of his country.

Once in Spain, Mendmaa quickly became involved in the Spanish musical world, and his activity was very intense and varied. As a concert artist, he gave concerts in different cities and participated in concerts with various chamber groups and accompanied singers in lyrical recitals.

In 1999, she collaborated as a pianist with the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra. In July 2000, she collaborated with Professor Galina Egiazarova, giving master classes organized by the Department of Culture of the Provincial Council of Vizcaya, at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao. She has given classes at the Jesús Guridi Conservatory in Vitoria and has been invited as a member of the jury of the International Piano Competition “Ciudad de San Sebastián.”

In 2005, she formed a duo with the Ukrainian pianist Vadim Gladkov and in March the presentation concert took place at the Ateneo de Madrid. Over time, the duo was renamed “Greek Duo.” In September 2006, they participated in the 7th International Greek Competition in Oslo, where they were awarded in the categories of piano four hands (Second Prize and Special Prize for “Loveliest Walzer” by J. Brahms) and in the two-piano program (First Prize and a special mention for the Vivaldi – Bach Concerto).

In April 2006, both of them were members of the jury of the 2006st International Piano Competition “Chuluun” held in Ulan Bator (Mongolia), where they also gave master classes and offered two concerts in the four-hand and two-piano categories recorded by the National Television of Mongolia. In July 2006, they participated in the International Competition “TIM” held in Rome where they obtained the Diploma of finalists. In December XNUMX, “Greek Duo”He was invited to play the concerto for two pianos with orchestra by F. Mendelssohn, at the kyiv Philharmonic.

In 2007 the duo performed at the 2007nd International Piano Duo Festival “Baltic Duos” (St. Petersburg) and at the Oslo Griegfestival (2007). In December of that same year, they performed in the chamber hall of the National Auditorium with a programme for two pianos. Since then, they have given different concerts, both for four hands and for two pianos, highlighting the one given in XNUMX at the National Auditorium in Madrid.

In 2008, Mendmaa performed E. Grieg's Concerto in A minor with the Ulan Bator Symphony Orchestra (Mongolia) under the direction of Tuulaikhuu. During the concert, he was awarded the Medal and the Honorable Artist of Mongolian Culture.

In 2009 she was invited by the Mongolian Embassy in Germany where she gave a piano recital in Berlin.

In 2011 and 2012, together with pianist Vadim Gladkov, he gave master classes as part of the summer courses of the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP) in Santander, Spain.

In 2013, he gave piano master classes at the Ulan Bator State Conservatory.

She currently resides in Madrid where she teaches piano at the Alcalá de Henares Conservatory in Madrid. In 2018, the Mongolian Foreign Minister appointed her as Mongolian Ambassador of Culture in Spain. Mendmaa is the founder and president of the Gran Klavier Cultural Association, whose aim is to promote music among young pianists and develop an artistic-cultural exchange between Spain and Mongolia. The Association organizes the Gran Klavier-Ciudad de Alcalá Young Pianist Competition every year. The seventh edition will be held in October 2021.
