Soloist and teacher
Student of Piero Rattalino. Master in Musical Research from the International University of Valencia (VIU). She has performed as a soloist and in various types of chamber ensembles in halls in Spain, the United States, England and Italy, and has been an artist in residence at St. Thomas University, Fredericton (Canada). In 2015 she moved to the United States as a Visiting Professor, where she develops her artistic activity in various halls in Miami and New York, such as the Wertheim Performing Arts Center at Florida International University, Steinway Hall or New World Center.
In June 2019, she was invited by the IAWM (The International Alliance of Women in Music) to give a lecture-concert at Berklee College of Music, Boston, on the solo piano work of the Argentine composer Claudia Montero. Since 2004, she has been a member of the Corps of Music Teachers by competitive examination, teaching at different conservatories in Spain.
She is currently a piano teacher at the Torrent Professional Music Conservatory and develops her artistic career as a soloist as well as in several duo formations: Heilen Duo with the cellist Mayte García Atienza, which places special focus on music written by women, and with the mandolinist Jordi Sanz (nominated for Best Classical Music Album at the IVC Carles Santos Awards), with whom she focuses on the recovery of heritage for mandolin and piano. She regularly teaches Mindfulness workshops for musicians (CEFIRE-Valencia).
