Soloist and piano duo for four hands
José Enrique Moreno Gistaín develops a double facet as a soloist and as a piano duo for four hands and two pianos, Dúo Moreno Gistaín, together with his brother Juan Fernando. He has given concerts in Spain, France, the United States, Italy, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Russia, Slovakia, Portugal, Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Morocco, Estonia, Zimbabwe, performing at the Diaghilev PS International Festival in St. Petersburg, the Palais de Beaux Arts (BOZAR) in Brussels, the ILAMS Festival in London, the Foz Palace in Lisbon, the Spanish Music Festival in Vienna, the Young Talents Festival in Sofia, the Perpignan Theatre, the Royal Spanish Academy in Rome, the Kurosawa Piano Foundation (USA), the Mozart Hall in Bratislava, the Diaghilev PS Festival in St. Petersburg, etc.
In Spain he has performed in numerous festivals and venues, including the National Auditorium, the Gijón International Music Festival, the Vilabertrán International Schubertiada Festival, the Conde Duque Auditorium, the Teatros del Canal, the Juan March Foundation, the Great Soloists Cycle at the Zaragoza Auditorium, the International Masters Cycle at the León Auditorium, the Palau de la Música in Valencia, the Panticosa International Festival, the Úbeda International Music Festival, the Santa Cristina d´Aro Chamber Music Season, the Eutherpe Foundation, the La Caixa Foundation, etc.
He has performed as a soloist with the Camerata Eutherpe, the Camerata Cecilia, the Castilla y León String Orchestra, the Galician Youth Orchestra, and the Opus 23 Orchestra, under such conductors as Slawomir Arszyñski and Andrés Salado. He has made recordings for Radio Clásica on Radio Nacional de España, Aragón Televisión, Catalunya Musica, and La 2 on Televisión Española. He has also collaborated on interdisciplinary projects with artists such as the singer Estrella Morente, the actors Itziar Miranda and Nacho Rubio, and the dancers Rafael Rivero and Sara Lorés.
