In January 2020, he won the Golden Opera Special Award for New Generation at the Oscars of Opera, presented by the Confederazione Lirica dei Teatri d'Opera Italiani (Confederation of Italian Opera Houses) as one of the most promising young conductors on the Italian operatic scene, with special mention of Puccini's music. For this recognition, he received the title of "Puccini Ambassador to the World" in 2024, during the centenary celebrations of Puccini's birth.

He is currently a professor of orchestral exercises and orchestral conducting at the "Gesualdo da Venosa" Conservatory in Potenza.

Appointed artistic and musical director of the Tirana National Opera and Ballet Theatre in 2022, he has been musical director of the Varna National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Bulgaria since 2022, and musical director of the Abruzzese Symphony Orchestra, one of the eleven Italian orchestras of the ICO, since 2023. Since 2016, he has been artistic director of the Sacrum International Festival and the Tagliacozzo International Summer Festival, a festival supported by the FUS. He was principal guest conductor of the Puccini Festival Foundation from 2016 to 2018.

After graduating with honors from high school, he earned a law degree and then a degree in canon law, obtaining two doctorates: one in criminal law under the direction of Mario Trapani at Roma Tre University and another in canon law with a dissertation written entirely in Latin from the Pontifical Lateran University. He was admitted to the bar at the age of 27 and, at 29, became the youngest lawyer ever to serve on the Roman Rota.

She graduated with honors in Orchestral Conducting under Marco Angius and in Composition and Choral Conducting from the Tartini Conservatory in Trieste. She studied Experimental Composition with Mauro Cardi and Operatic Singing with Maria Chiara Pavone, graduating from the A. Casella Conservatory of Music in L'Aquila.

He has also directed ballet for many years. Among his most notable works are: "Giselle," "Swan Lake," "Don Quixote," "Sleeping Beauty," "Romeo and Juliet," "Carmina Burana," "The Rite of Spring," and "The Nutcracker."

He has been a guest conductor on several occasions at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, where, in 2016, he conducted "La Bohème" and later "Turandot" to mark the opera's 90th anniversary; "Trittico" in 2018, to mark its 100th anniversary; and "Madama Butterfly" in 2024, to mark its 120th anniversary. That same year, he embarked on a world tour focused on the operas of Giacomo Puccini, which began in Abu Dhabi with Francesco Meli and Valeria Sepe.

Guest conductor of the Belgrade National Opera and Ballet from 2017 to 2019, he debuted with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra (QPO) in 2017, the Israel Symphony Orchestra in 2019, and the Saarland State Orchestra in 2021. Since 2019, he has been the artistic and musical director of the OperaViva International Opera Festival at the Baku Opera and Ballet Theatre in Azerbaijan. In 2021, he debuted at the Athens Megaron with the Athens State Orchestra. In 2023, he debuted at the Gewandhaus with the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra. In 2025, he made his debut as conductor of the Haifa Symphony Orchestra in Israel. In November 2025, he conducted the institutional concert for the Jubilee of Hope, which included the world premiere of D. Bartolucci's oratorio "The Tempest on the Lake," and in December 2025, he conducted the Opera Oscar Awards Gala at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome.

She recorded Turandot at the Gran Teatro Puccini for the opera's 90th anniversary, a PARAMAX FILM production, and MR PUCCINI by CINZIA TEDESCO with the Puccini Festival Foundation Orchestra for Sony Classic.
