Belgian conductor, resident in Spain, where he has been principal conductor of symphonic bands such as the Ateneo Musical de Cullera or the Armónica de Buñol, among others. He is currently principal conductor of the symphonic band «Unió Musical» of Torrent (Valencia), of the Agrupació Artística Musical of Denia, and of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Soundtracks in Zaragoza.
As a director he has performed in various countries such as Belgium, Holland, the USA, Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, South Korea, Portugal and Spain.
In 2008, he was appointed founding director of the Youth Symphonic Band of the Medellín Music Schools Network, a position he held until 2016.
He has been artistic director of the International Congress of Music for Bands, organized by the Mayor's Office of Medellín from 2010 to 2014, a congress that in just a few years has become the most important band event in Latin America.
He has been a guest professor of the Master of Direction at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá (Colombia), from 2015 to 2018.
Since 2020 he has been artistic coordinator of the WMC Academy (Kerkrade). In 2022, he has been appointed ambassador of the WMC (World Music Contest) Kerkrade.
In the field of education, he has extensive experience as a professor of directing, training directors in Spain and Latin America in particular.
He has made recordings for record labels in Spain, the United States, Japan, Belgium, and Colombia.
He has been a judge in competitions in several countries, such as Spain, Belgium, Holland (WMC), Switzerland, Germany, Peru and Colombia.
His achievements include several competitions in Spain and abroad. He has won the Valencia International Competition in its Honorary section with three different bands (Ateneo Musical de Cullera, La Armónica de Buñol, and the Unió Musical de Torrent). He is the holder of the Golden Baton of the International Competition "Vila d'Altea" and is the only conductor to have won it five times.
