Teacher, singer and composer
She began her musical career in 1995, recording her first album with the swing band The Black Train. Since then, she has combined her training with her work on stage. She has studied jazz singing with Bob Stoloff, Sheila Jordan, JD Walter, Carme Canela, Teresa Luján and Miles Griffith.
She has a degree in Performance from the Conservatorio Superior de Navarra and a Master's degree in Musical Performance and Research and has taken a number of specialized courses in vocal technique, such as Estill Voice Training, etc.
He has collaborated with artists and groups such as Sedajazz, Sam Yahel, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Ricardo Belda, Jim Ridl, Joan Soler, Jerez-Texas, Ximo Tébar Band, Amadeu Adell, Jorge Riera Gypsy Jazz Project, Vall D'Uixó Big Band, Dave Schnitter, Ben Street, Helen Sung, Rob Bargad, Yaron Stavi, Peter Bernstein, Jorge Pardo, Polo Ortí, Palma Symphony Band, AGR Nonet Grup, Eva Romero, Xano Xano and many more.
As a leader, he has released three albums, Tristeza de Amar (2002), Celebrating, Cole Porter (2005) and Páginas Preciosas (2008), with which he has made numerous national and international tours and garnered numerous reviews in the specialized press.
He has received several awards and mentions, such as at the Shure Jazz Montreux Jazz Voice Competition or the International Soloist Competition in Monaco.
Currently, he combines teaching at Berklee College of Music with concerts and composing songs for his next album.
