Sedaví, Valencia, 1974. He began his music studies at the age of 9 in Sedaví. Since then, he has been a student of the excellent trumpet player and teacher Manuel López, with whom he has acquired a wealth of technical and practical knowledge in the study of the trumpet; both in his classical and modern training.

He studied at the Valencia Conservatory, the Castellón Conservatory and the Barcelona Municipal Conservatory, where he received an Honorary Award at the end of his studies, under the tutelage of Mr. Jaume Espigolé.

In 1988 he began his jazz studies under Francisco Blanco at the Sedaví Jazz Workshop, and became part of the Valencia Jazz Big Band, under the direction of Ramón Cardo.

He has participated in seminars and received master classes from great talents such as: George Vosburg (Soloist of the Pittsburgh Orchestra), Jim Pandolfi (soloist of the Metropolitan of New York), Michael P. Mossman, Claudio Roditi or Bobby Shew, among many others.

He has performed and recorded with artists such as Presuntos Implicados, Sole Giménez, Michael Bubble, Armando Manzanero, Celia Cruz, Lucrecia, Martirio, Miguel Poveda, Santiago Auserón, Social Security, Lolita, Jaime Urrutia and the Tony Manero Foundation.

He frequently collaborates with jazz musicians in Spain: Perico Sambeat, Ximo Tebar, Mario Rossy, Eladio Reinón, Frances Burrull, Andrea Motis, Joan Chamorro, Joan Soler, Jordi Vilá, Fabio Miano, Jorge Pardo, Carles Benavent and Sedajazz Big Band.

He has also played with international artists such as: Clark Terry, Chris Cheek, Mike Mossman, Steve Marcus, Richie Cole, Jack Walrath, Dennis Rowland, Paquito D' Rivera, Frank Wess, Bobby Shew, Slide Hampton, Pat Metheny, Bob Mintzer, Danilo Pérez, Giovanni Hidalgo, Donald Harrison, Donald Edwards, Emilio Solla, Sean Jones and Arturo Sandoval.

With a large discography as a leader and sideman, it is worth highlighting the recording made in April 97 in Lausanne (Switzerland) for BMG with the group Solar Sides, with which he participated in a world tour playing at the most important jazz and electronic music festivals.

He has also participated in the recording of a monographic LP of Maurice Ravel with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra.

In 2021 he participated as a principal soloist, alongside Paquito d'Rivera and Emilio Solla Trío in the recording of “The Chick Corea Symphony Tribute”, under the direction of Josep Vicent for the Warner Classics label.

He is currently a professor at the Escola Superior d'Estudis Musicals Taller de Músics de Barcelona and director of the “Original Jazz Orchestra” of the Taller de Músics. He is also a professor at the Jazz Training Workshop and Director of the Big Band at the UJI (Universitat Jaume I).

He has participated in the following international congresses and conferences: International Trumpet Guild Conference (2021), Jazz Trumpet Fest Brazil (2021), Ibero-American Online Trumpet Meeting (2020), Trumpet Masterclass at CONFENALCO Colombia (2020), (Masterclass at the Higher School of Music of Yucatán (2019), Ibero-American Trumpet Congress (Mexico, 2018) and Argentina Trumpet Fest (2018), as well as in multiple national events such as CIMVO (l'Olleria), Maspalomas International Trumpet Festival (Gran Canaria) or Numskull (Caudete) or RCSMM (Madrid) among many others.
