Composer and bassist

English bassist and composer born in Bournemouth, England.
He began taking piano lessons at the age of 9 until at the age of 12, while looking for a guitar in a store for his 13th birthday, he came across the electric bass.
His first influences are bassists such as Flea, Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten, Bootsy Collins, Larry Graham, Tim Commerford and genres such as funk, fusion, rock, blues, jazz and gospel. Since then, and self-taught, he began working as a bassist in his hometown.

At the age of 14, he is already teaching bass lessons and performing with other musicians on the local music scene.

When he turned 18 and after two years of musical studies, he moved to London to complete a Higher Degree in Music, which helped him define his musical career.
There he interacts with the musical society thanks to the jam sessions and begins working as a session musician for different projects and artists.
At the age of 25 he moved to Valencia to study a Master's degree in Music Performance (instrumentalist) at the Berklee College of Music where he studied with some of the best jazz musicians on the international scene such as Laurence Cottle, Janek Gwizdala, Gary Willis and Perico Sambeat.

After finishing his studies at Berklee, he formed the group Valmuz with Peter Connolly, Víctor Jiménez and Joshua Wheatley. A jazz/rock/fusion project that has already won several awards, such as first place at the 2019 Romanian International Jazz Competition, or the award for best jazz album of the year in Spain 2021 for “Sinergia”, an album recorded with the renowned Sedajazz Big Band.

He has played in iconic venues such as Ronnie Scott's and the famous Pizza Express in London, as well as in other countries internationally.
During 2023 he works in the English capital with some of the best musicians in the jazz and fusion scene, directing a jam session weekly in the acclaimed Bulls Head from Barnes.

Some of the artists he has worked with to date are: Blue, Rainer Hersch, Perico Sambeat, Jorge Pardo, Mike Outram, Jamie Murray, Jim Watson, etc. In 2017 he was invited by Yamaha to collaborate at the La Rioja Drum Festival with artists such as Don Formularo and Josh Dion.
