He completed his training at the CC SS of Valencia and Murcia, graduating in 8 specialties, with 4 Honorable Mentions and an End of Degree Award. He obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies from the Catholic University of Valencia. Since 2004 he has been a professor of composition at the Conservatory of Valencia. He has received important awards and distinctions, both in Spain and abroad. His works have been performed in most of Europe, Latin America, and in the USA, Canada, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc. His scores have been published in Spain, France, Switzerland and the USA. His discography is made in Spain, Norway, France, Switzerland, Holland, Portugal, Poland, the USA and Japan. He has been resident composer, among others, of the International SBALZ Festival and the Youth Orchestra of the Generalitat Valenciana. He has been Principal Guest Conductor of the Banda y Orquesta Primitiva de Llíria, and founder of the ensemble Estudi Obert. He was director of the bands of Mislata, Picassent and Silla. In the 2015-16 season he was Principal Conductor of the Municipal Band of A Coruña. As a guest he has conducted, among other formations, the Orchestras of Valencia, the Symphony of Galicia, ADDA Symphony, Mediterranean Strings of Ankara, etc., and most of the Municipal Bands of Spain. His versatility has led him to undertake unique projects such as the recording of a DVD for Sony with the group Barón Rojo and the CIM of Mislata. He has been a director of the Association of Valencian Symphonic Composers, and is currently a Numerary Academician of the Academy of Valencian Music.
