Workshop description: 

The challenges of the new teaching environment require ongoing training and updating of the most important tools and methodologies, allowing us to incorporate them into our own catalog and implement them in the most useful ways in our work. In this case, exploring the concept of "Eurhythmics" will allow us to broaden these horizons with techniques and methods applicable to instrumental teaching, musical language, dance, early musical awareness, and even in preschool, primary, and secondary school classrooms.

The triple approach of the Dalcroze methodology (rhythm, music theory, and improvisation) will allow participants in this workshop to develop essential skills for teaching. Learning to work on improving and controlling mental and physical faculties (memory, concentration, coordination, body weight and energy control, precise tempo control, spatial perception, and a deep understanding of creative faculties) will directly result in improved musical understanding. All of this is achieved through movement, sensitivity, and professionalism as musicians, artists, and teachers. 

In this workshop, we will not only have classic technical input, but also new methodologies developed by guest lecturer Anna Galikowska, which can be grouped into rhythmic coding of metrics, movement-based coding, and body coding through scales and arpeggios.
